...and if you watch Moonshiners, don't remember the characters name, but he does the shake and swirl test to see if his shine is above 100proof right from the worm.

running it through a 2nd time is double distilling it to answer the guys question from before...

and Brsitol is correct,you can pretty much make it from anything,but corn is cheap and easily available... especially in the Prohibition days...
and my guy is experimenting with some fruits to get his brandy recipe just right... he said he's going to make apple,peach,blackberry,and maybe a another one...but it gets expensive quick with fruits...

What it means, though, is for this thing to be official, Gruden to officially accept, and everything be announced publicly for sure; Dooley has to be fired, the university has to post the position, several interviews have to take place, and any other due diligence such as background checks all have to happen. So, even once Dooley is fired it will take several weeks to confirm this whole thing even if the Gruden rumors are true. It's just the way it has to be. Based on the timeline I've read on here, it gives the university just enough time to do everything it needs to do to make this legit between firing Dooley and announcing Gruden around Christmas.

Yes, but as you say, it is perfunctory and is normally done after they have deal in place. I did think about this when somebody said that the Utah State guy was contacted.

The interviews don't have to be in person. I heard that they did mostly phone interviews for the BB coach after Buzz left even though none of the phone interviews had a shot.

Ok and as i understand it, what you call double distilling characterizes white lightening...correct?

I'm not too sure how good a Moonshiner some of these guys are...

Oh absolutely. It just takes some time to do those things though and none of the formal stuff can start until Dooley is officially out and there is a job vacancy, even if Gruden accepted a deal months ago.

Most of guys can get their moonshine to about 95% alcohol and 5% water, that's about the best they can do.
