I can only imagine that Gruden would not want to deal with it soon after being hired so he may have forced UT to remove any obstacles, ie negotiating a quick out with the NCAA.

Just a theory, and not one I necessarily believe. The timing just seems incredible to me.

Well most of Kiffins ordeals were made public because he chose to. Most secondary violations that coaches make are never known to the public. A few years ago I believe the report was Saban reported more secondarys than anyone, however most of us had no clue they even happened because he kept them quiet. he didn't knowingly have a recruit on a television program, say something about a player being GREAT on the radio that he was recruiting. he also didn't accuse another coach of cheating when he violated the rules himself.

Got a question...... What was it that changed your mind back to being so positive about this? More specifically, did you hear back from the same guy who told you the deal was off with Gruden a few weeks ago? You know the one who originally was saying it would happen and then suddenly said it was over.
