May be late to the party on this one but I don't have time read back through all the posts from today. I heard Tony B say on his show that he has seen photographic evidence that Gruden is coming. I assume he is either talking about seein a contract or the MOU that has been talked about so much.

Skeeter isn't an insider. After what he posted about the boosters and Hart it's obvious. The deal is done. We will have the best head coach and best staff in the country.

Disagree. Respectfully of course. There is no way he isn't an insider. He works in the recruiting office of UT. He has called commits before they happen very regularly. He has also claimed "locks" would not sign, and it has happened. He might not be accurate when it comes to this situation, but he is usually deadly accurate with recruiting info. That IMO, is why he posts there.

a deal hasn't been done, as others suggested. It wasn't possible with AD obstacles. It became possible just recently.
The thing that is exciting, is that all obstacles have been overcome on the AD side.
The next step is to see if Gruden was bluffing or not.

I've heard that Gruden may finish out the MNF schedule before an announcement because of some contractual language in his ESPN deal. I understand that talks between Gruden and ESPN are ongoing regarding him accepting the UT job and finishing out MNF. I am not privy to those negotiations and have not seen his contract so I am not sure what the exact issues are. If these issues can be worked out expect the announcement around SECCG (like others have said previously). All eyes will be on that game around the country because the winner will be in the BCSCG.

How sick would it be if we could announce Gruden as head coach on November 30th and then he could appear on ESPN Gameday as the celebrity picker in all orange on December the 1st.

Tennessee fans may drive down to Atlanta just to root for him!

I would like to know if Larry's % chance went up drastically today. You guys think his contacts are gone, but he's been as accurate as anyone on this site since I've been on. If you have known people around campus for 20+ years, you don't run out of them until you want to be out of the loop.

Now in his fourth year in the MNF booth, Gruden has already lasted longer in broadcasting than most expected. Before the season, Tirico told SI.com that he was waiting for all the people who had said Gruden would return to the sidelines to admit they had reported prematurely. He did not want to speculate on this go-around.
