Okay that makes absolutely zero since when there are plenty of others sources saying that there have at least been talks between the two parties.
1. The biggest hoarder of inside info in history
2. A troll trying to get more listeners
3. A media member who was told by the AD to cool the Grumors
4. An idiot
I have been wondering this for weeks. Didn't Saban say at a press conference a few weeks before it was announced that he would't be the next head coach at Alabama?
What he'll do is have a whole story about how "things changed" very shortly before it's announced. And his followers will forget all about the previous month of him dancing around the questions and ibacktracking on his statements. Everyone will be too excited and overjoyed with the fact Jon F'n Gruden is the new UT HC to care about being strung along. IMO
Actually, Alabama's AD hired Rich Rodriguez and 48 hrs. later had to come up with a story saying the deal fell through after the boosters overrode the hire. He was told who he was hiring (Saban) and how much the deal was for.
If it is done and finalized it will be announced within a week. If it has been kept under wraps it was out of respect for the team finishing out the season this week.
I agree!!! We can't take any chances. I thing we'll be okay even if we don't get Gruden. Too much is at stake to mess this up.
Why would Gruden want to burn a bridge by surprising ESPN? If a deal has been done, ESPN already knows about it due to his present contract.
I agree. I don't think hubbs has a clue about the coaching search. My point was he isn't a puppet of the AD and that was proven by his reporting of DD being fired before they were ready to announce it or before he was correct. Either way he didn't announce it at the direction of the AD which DTO said he was under
