No other schools go through this double-secret lay down a smokescreen BS that people claim is happening here.

Alright. Season over. Now the test begins.

I have to think that if Gruden really is a done deal that he will be announced tomorrow or Monday simply to get him out on the recruiting trail ASAP. I believe 100% that he can quit MNF any time he wishes. Contracts mean nothing, recruiting means everything.

If he is not announced by Monday then I have to fall into the camp that no deal has ever been "done" with Gruden officially, unofficially or otherwise and that there is an honest-to-God coaching search happening and UT has no clue who they will be hiring.
Just my opinion, but that's where I'm gonna stand. Hoping for a Gruden announcement VERY soon.

Just a hunch I think Hart has his guy. I hope it is Gruden. I would not be surprised if it is Stoops.

Last night babyavi was mocking OG, ect. Making it sound like everyone was dumb for thinking it was Gruden. He made several 4th grade level jokes, and today I'm sure he will probably say his sons posted it.

He is the Derek Dooley of posters. Does dumb things one night and won't take responsibility for them the next.

I dont think so. Everybody who has a mouth piece is saying that there is no deal and never has been one.

Let me reword my statement.

My belief is that the longer this goes, the less I believe Gruden is a "lock" and the more I believe the UT has no idea who will accept our HC job.

All I'm saying is that Fulmer did not develop a coaching tree like most other successful HCs.

If you can come up with successful HCs who were on Fulmer's staff, I'd be glad to hear who they might be. We might try to bring them in if Gruden falls through.

So far you listed Cutcliffe....which is ok...but not really elite.

I hope this does not drag out. I think they gave Hart the big credit card . Whoever he hires if it is not Gruden will have the stigma "it's not Gruden." I worry about that now.
