That is what I thought, but Greenie stated that Gruden was not available today...so they have Frank Caliendo instead. Of course, Caliendo came on and did a Gruden impersonation.

I may have been wearing my orange colored glasses and did not realize the comments could have been a lead-in to Caliendo's intro. Still not sure though.

You're reading too much into that. Gruden only goes on once a week.

I know there has been mention of Zook on Gruden's staff if he accepted. Zook was on 92.9 The Game this morning and was asked about Gruden. A few nuggets from this. He said Gruden texted him at 3:15 this morning. He also said he was going down to Tampa tomorrow (Friday) to meet with him. It didn't sound like anything big but it does put both of them in Tampa on the supposed 'big day' in Knoxville. He also was pretty firm (no hesitation) on Gruden staying in the booth over the next year. Take it as you may. Just passing on what was said on the radio here in ATL.

Let me start by saying I have no clue whether it will be Gruden, but during the last search Muschamp was UT #1 guy I believe and there were many rumors then about offers, counter offers, etc.

When the deal fell through, since it was a huge at that time, UT announced that it would not be Muschamp.

So I suspect when it stops being Gruden, UT will announce it so that everyone can move on. Until then, I suspect Gruden is probably still in play. Just my 0.02 cents.

Per the few comments they made yesterday, their sources have either gone completely silent or are just providing short answers like "status quo". Only thing that is changed is that they aren't getting any noteworthy new information at this point. And as such, why engage in the BS factor that's dominating this thread right now.
