I firmly believe that if and when Hart meets with Gruden, it won't be to negotiate, it'll be to sign a contract. If there is a meeting before that, we'll not know anything about it. These guys can be very invisible when they really want to be.

Hart has been in this business a long time.

Honest question...obviously Hamilton was a fail and the academic administration do not appear too savvy with the athletics side of the university, so who is responsible for hiring Hart? I choose to believe that Hart a professional who is good at his job and knows more about his business than the average volnation poster, but who in the UT system determined Hart was the man for the job?

Thanks in advance.

Good Morning
After scanning through the some of the comments, I'm being honest... Tn MUST make this Gruden hire happen. This fan base is at each others throats. I feel if this doesn't happen our beloved football program is in for some rough years ahead. But I'm still confident we get Gruden... I'm 100% it's going to happen!

V,B!

*From Warren Sapp's book about one of CJG's speeches .... I love the last line and I bet recruits will too.

He stood up in front of us and explained that there were 10 things we needed to do to beat the Eagles. Ten Things! He went down the list one by one, blah blah blah, blah blah blah, we'd heard it all. But then he got to the number one thing we needed to do, and he started talking about their kick returner Brian Mitchell. "I want Brian Mitchell's ass on a plate," he said. "And once we finish with the Philadelphia Eagles we are going to go to San Diego for the Super Bowl..." he paused, grinned and concluded, "Where the coach is gonna get*two*hotel rooms for all my bitc*es!"

Well ya got me on that bro!Doesn't mean I don't want Gruden. It's Gruden or bust for me!And things ain't lookin good for the home team!Know what I mean?

It's been a roller coaster ride and things didn't look good but look better. That's been the whole process. I got tired and slept really good last night because I've been so worked up over this. If it turns out not then so be it. But...

I'm all in until it's all out

From where I sit: Boro and Company have stayed pretty steady. Radio is back and forth daily. AD office sources tend to be more cautious, but last night, when everyone was losing faith, they gave us some hope.

I know there has been mention of Zook on Gruden's staff if he accepted. Zook was on 92.9 The Game this morning and was asked about Gruden. A few nuggets from this. He said Gruden texted him at 3:15 this morning. He also said he was going down to Tampa tomorrow (Friday) to meet with him. It didn't sound like anything big but it does put both of them in Tampa on the supposed 'big day' in Knoxville. He also was pretty firm (no hesitation) on Gruden staying in the booth over the next year. Take it as you may. Just passing on what was said on the radio here in ATL.

Ehhh...I'm sure they text at 3am all the time.....hehehehe

Thanks, Cspin.

Yep - the guy who gave up 68 points to Georgia Freakin' Tech (and that was with 10 mins left in the game). And with a defense that has 2 or 3 starters that are 1st/2nd round NFL draft prospects. No thanks. He's another Dooley (maybe worse)

Re read the response, as you will see I was asking if it WAS Larry who typed the quote listed not that I wanted him. Just trying to clear my name and its' attachment to your feeling that I endorse and or expect this guy to be at UT.

Morning Grudenheimers!

I actually almost dread coming in here after yesterday, although evening was much better. This place is a Meth Lab and I'm addicted!

So have Hart et al landed in Tampa for Gruden meating yet?

Is Grudey HC yet? Or is it Fisher, Fulmer, Golden, DD, Chavis, Spurrier, Manning???

.

Good Morning All,
I am still in all Gruden and think it will be announced tomorrow! I have NO sources. But in watching this board and knowing the OGs have the inside track (because I have witnessed things they said...happen) I have this to hang on to. Announcement tomorrow is the perfect timing with the SEC Champaionship game being Saturday what great advertising, it will be the talk of TV and radio all day long to say the least. I think all this smoke we have been hearing is from people that do not know or the timing is not right yet. I think we have Gruden. (1) I believe some of the OGs have the inside track. (2) Gruden loves UT and would not string us along knowing we need to turn this thing around and time is an issue for us because other programs are in the coaching search and recuiting has started. Gruden is a good coach and a good man.(3) I think with Gruden getting his last check from Tampa Bay at this time, they had to convince everyone that there is no contract, no hire, thus the negativity was put in the public eye yesterday. I think we will have some positive leaks today to lead up to the BIG announcement tomorrow. Just my opinion but makes sense to me. Let's be positive..we have our guy and he will be driving the SEC train back to Glory. Can I have a GO VOLS!!!!:clapping:

So the first line of Brent Hubbs morning report says "the stage is set for a press conference."

Huh??? According to AD we haven't done the first interview. Something doesn't fit, eh?

Either it's Gruden and Dave Hart is Pimp :D or he has created one of the worst PR moves in a while with the way this has been handled. I think he is a Pimp - we'll see.[/QUOTE
dave hart is not the pimp. hart is a wh*** and saban is his pimp.
