I actually did resize it. I just posted the original by mistake. I am not thinking right this morning. I want all this mess to come to an end.

If everyone had a 27 inch imac nestled lovingly atop a cherry-oak desk, they would not be complaining! Peasants I say.

yes exactly Carter. See we are all learning here little by little. Who says this cant be educational.......as we all hang on by a thread to our sanity:unsure:

Now you are just wavering.

Sorry trying to understand the mentality of some on here through imitation methods.

Believe he's right. If/ when we expand it would be a market or state we havent gotten into and no way S.Carol or UF would vote Clemson, FSO or Miami in since they are from the same states. I can see teams from N. Carol and VA being next if we expanded. Could definitely see NC and Duke coming as a package deal. Would be great for hoops but not so much for football. Also could see VA or Va Tech as options. Out of those 4 would prefer it be NC and Duke, jmo.

I would $hit my pants if Duke came to the SEC. As a die hard Duke bball fan, that might be my heaven.

I will make a few observations, Gruden has clearly distanced himself from Dooley. Dooley was done regardless! Why would gruden get mad at UT because some memphis reporter reports a flase report, it was bound to happen and i don't buy it. They have succeeded if they wanted to distance themselves and so what if they have indeed been courting Gruden behind the scenes all the time nobody reall cares, and if they are out there it's far and few between. That being said I'm sure there is more to it and STILL the AD has not refuted Gruden possibility so I BELIEVE!! The second list makes us look like we are KY or a acc school I am ALL IN!!! GO VOLS GET GRUDEN!!

Could you imagine?? As if the SEC isn't dominant enough! Good googly-moogly!

Your exactly right. Dominant in Football and off and on in hoops but landing those 2 would be unreal. Plus they are good in Womens hoops, esp Duke. Plus SEC is pretty damn good in Baseball and softball. Not sure how either is in baseball or softball but in hoops we know what they can do.

The "Cindy Gruden wants to move to Knoxville" angle on this story is just BS. If she wanted to leave Tampa she can do so at any time she pleases. There is ZERO preventing her from living where she wants. She lives in Tampa because she chooses to do so.

Agreed, if she wanted to be in Knoxville and wielded that much power or her husband, they would be in Knoxville. It's not like JG is tied to a desk in Tampa to support his family.

So... Hart is going to fly to Miami to interview Al Golden, yet Jon Gruden was going to fly into Knoxville to be interviewed???

:bs:

The thing with the media is that they have been leaving themselves a big out the entire time. Almost to a fault they all say they'll believe it when they see it or see Gruden at the podium.

With that being said, just because it may have been "done" in terms of agreement doesn't mean that it was ever finalized on UT's side. As many have mentioned, if this goes down, it will be a mega deal unlike anything anyone has ever seen outside of maybe Saban and Alabama. There are many reasons yesterday's info could have been leaked, from buying time to Gruden being pissed to preparing the fans for it not working.

I have no inside sources in the AD, but I do know the university side somewhat well. After everything that has happened at our once great institution over the past decade, does anyone really believe UT knows what they are doing in a deal of this magnitude? I certainly don't, not even Hart. So it wouldn't surprise me in the least if a deal like this that was done by the big guys gets screwed up once it gets into the administration. UT has some pretty weak folks running things over there, though I'm not necessarily talking about Hart.

At the end of the day, I believe the OGs here for these reasons: If Haslam and others have truly worked on this deal as long as everyone is saying, I can't imagine them allowing it to fall through because of the idiocy of the university or the media. If it does fall through, even if it's Gruden's fault, my guess is Hart, Cheek, and others will be gone regardless of who they hire, even if UT were to win a championship. These big money guys don't put this much time, effort, and money into something only to see it fail at the last minute.
