I find the silence from the AD's office a bit puzzling. lamonte just basically implied that Hart was in "Fantasy land" for even calling him about Gruden. If I'm Hart, I take exception to that and issue a press release clearing it all up and defending the UT football program and why the HFC position is attractive.

I always say... let's cross that bridge when we come to it...it is possible (slight I know) that the AD and the agent are trying to buy time til Dec 15 time period because of the pressure coming down

The bashing means nothing to me. I don't base my life, pro or con, on the way I'm perceived on the internet. I've said that from the beginning and I mean that. If it makes them feel better, let it rip. Glad I can be theraputic.

I will say this though: I try not to be a vindictive person. I fail at that often. It takes too much energy. However, until we announce a coach, this isn't over. No matter how bleak it may look now, we haven't introduced a new coach. I understand being disappointed at this time. I'm here to accept my role in that disappointment as I have assured I would. But, if the worm turns again like it has so many times in this whole cluster of a situation, I'm not sure the principle amount of venom won't be returned....quite possibly with some interest that has been earned.

Stoops has been consistently good in his career and has been decent in recruiting. Fisher is a terrific recruiter that hasn't done too shabby himself in the win-loss column. I think Fisher has a little more fire than stoops and I am a big recruiting guy.

Of course he is a good recruiter, he works at Florida ****ing State. He is a **** head coach, and that is all there is to it. People that want Jimbo Fisher as the head coach at UT obviously aren't UT fans. Yeah, I said it.

These recent events the last 2-3 days just seem awfully strange to me. Things just aren't adding up imo.

There are positive things on the booster side & positive reports that aren't coming from the AD (JG talking to coaches re college & even P Manning urging JG to UT ect) & then there are the negative things from anybody who's source is within the utad (hubbs, rucker, chris low, ect).

Seems like the ad had to leak things recently to make everyone think JG is off the table bc reports were coming out (Memphis & TFP today that came from outside utad) & the excitement needed to be quitted until they can actually announce it. It seems to have worked pretty well too.

Call me crazy but I'm not buying some of this stuff & I think Gruden is still very much in play. JMO

People... CJG can wait two weeks, get paid by ESPN for the rest of his contract, get a check from Tampa.... ******AND******* make a little MORE MONEY from UT ... all if he just waits a few days. An interesting spin on the time value of money. Wait a little time, and CJG gets more money. Think about it!!!! Its like waiting/treading water thru the end of your year for the bonus, then jumping for the new job, big payout.
