Again, not attacking you in any way. I'm just explaining my reasoning for thinking your assertion is inaccurate. Then again, you could be 100% correct.

How many of you posters think your in laws know your plans specifically in your professional lives????

I can say that mine have zero clue

Appreciate all of the OG's input...I have no clue what happened..looked good last nite after article in paper and cat out of the bagel so to speak...seems like someone in the know aka booster pissed lots of people off by giving info to newspaper...way?is that what some believe? before everyone was ready...has that been discussed

Now the AD can go solicit a little more from Donors who had dropped off over previous years. They come back and we return to the table with Grude . The AD saves the day.

Football Scoop stating article out of Cincinnati and one other source stating Butch Jones is headed to Purdue.

Was a report out of Cinci that Butch Jones agreed to become Purdue's HC. We hear same as @HondoCarpenter. Meet after their game & see

All the OG's knew this would happen at some point,(the backlash). I hope you are looking at who is saying what. Because when the mood changes, or news comes out that puts us back in play, they will be back wanting to be friends again! I still think we have a shot, but I'm ready to get behind anyone not named Golden to help lead us back to the top!!!! Go Vols

Anybody else notice how the title of the GVX doesn't match what is said in the article?

There aren't any definites in the article "My client isn't interested in the job" Only, "We have not been offered any job and I haven't spoken with Hart"

I think this is a setup for something in the days to come. I'm remaining optimistic about this.

I'm done trying to guess.

The whole AD civil war makes no sense. Haslam could just pick up the phone and have Dave Hart escorted out of his office.

Just let it play out. With any luck we might see a gang war between the Chattanooga and the Knoxville media.

Like I said, if there was any misinformation/lack of information in this situation, I assure you it wasn't from OV. If I had a relationship for as long as OV has had with these individuals, I, too, would be inclined to take them at their word.
