Woodberry seems more legit than Hyams or Hubbs. I just wish some one would shed some light on all this. Maybe Hargis will keep pressing.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find out Rucker had a hand in that "quote"... he was butt hurt and had twitter battles all day for 2 days, the wording sounded harsh, but it magically was only given to KNS, but no comment to major media outlets?

Also, ESPN is butthurt because we're going after their guy, and they're notorious for shaping the facts to fit their interests.

I would add (referencing Hart's PC from the Dooley dismissal) that we apparently have some institutional specific issues that discourage high profile prospective coaches as those issues present an added challenge evidently not share by many of our competitors. This could be somewhat related to the famous "control" issues we continue to hear vague reports about.

I think Fisher is a solid hire, but he screams Richt 2.0 to me... he'll maintain 9-10 win season, but never win the big games and always lose a game or 2 he shouldn't lose with top 10 classes every year.

Hey guys, don't know if this is good or bad. I don't know how to link the article but you all need to Google the article related to Lamonte being the MVP for the Cleveland Browns. In the article it refers to him as an "illusionist" and basically he represents every major coach on that team. Problem is Haslam may have removed most of those coaches. Esp. Holmy which is one of his best friends. I don't think this would be good for a Haslam/Lamonte relationship.

Well in defense of looking elsewhere too, more then 75% in this country want every handout they can get and not have anyone pay for it and think that system is sustainable. What The UT fans want at any one moment I hope never controls this University, or there will be a guillotine raised next to the spam can and coaches and players will lose theirs heads anytime we lose a game. I too want Gruden but if I had 5o million to invest I would be particular on the details, and if the salesman pissed me off I would walk.... I want Gruden too, but I can imagine many reasons why demands or info uncovered might make one look for more affordable solutions.

That said god helP me I have drunk from the Jim Jones koolaide well in this thread and still think Gruden is a choice and they just needed to simmer the pot awhile for some unknown timeline requirement by Gruden.

think about it in the scheme of money...is Gruden and his staff worth 10 to 12 million a year?

Without a doubt...yes.....brings instant credibility...donations will skyrocket....season ticket sales will skyrocket......

It will be JG......listen to the OG's......

I agree that is the question and I'm sure there are people on our side that are struggling with the answer. I guess we'll find out at the PC what the verdict is. I'd like to be optimistic.

Nothing is adding up. Fisher is not coming to Tennessee Period! Fishers son is a die hard seminole fan with a rare fatal blood disorder. It is extremely likely he is not moving anywhere. This info screens bad sources or smokescreen all over it. Fisher made interesting comments tonight saying coaching changes are part of business. Also fisher is a known friend of hart, maybe he is using fisher as pawn to hide something?

and on top of this if they salary has already been paid by the boosters then all this additional money is going to our depleted reserve.......Dave Hart will ride in and save the day....telling ya.....
