Not trying to burst your bubble or your theory in your thread. I know for a fact that 3 of the OG's info was not coming from boosters. All I will say is their names are all names that Vol fans are very familiar with.

At this point in the game, after all the "insiders" have pretty much jumped ship and back-tracked from their statements leading up to a few days ago, I'm curious as to what ANYONE will say on the record now.

So spill it, directly. Or keep playing vague. Your call, but if you pull this indirect stuff, I'm going to keep calling you out until you make a statement on it.

I don't trust anything you, or your "sources" have said since three days ago. Convince me.

Flame burn do whatever makes you happy but to release those names is not going to happen. Perhaps Hart wanted to damn up the leaks or the folks leaking out info got ahead of themselves. Either way these folks have done a 180 now and to be honest it is very confusing. But to ask for names, never going to happen from me.

So you're just as confused as everyone else? With wrong, conflicting information? And you won't give up a name?

Sounds good then, my theory, at this point is just as legitimate, if not moreso, than anything you've thrown out over the last month. At least mine hasn't been directly contradicted.

I'm tired of everyone and their mother claiming "sources" and "inside information" with no credentials to back it up. You can not spill it, that's fine, but after the breakdown and immediate backtracking of everyone here with "inside information", I, and many others, have no reason to believe anything that you say anymore.

I'll stick to my internal logistics from here on out. They paint a far clearer picture than anything "insiders" have tried to paint recently.

The way I see it... who cares about sources if they are fake. Throw em under the bus. They did id to you by feeding you b.s.. If I was one of the guys that gave an iron clad done deal 100%, book it... I promise you I would tell my source. Nobody plays me for a fool like that. JMO

I'm not drawing a line in the sand somuchso as I'm dismissing the big mound of wet-tide next to me as being a full-scale sandcastle with a moat and drop-down entryway.

If you have truly inside information, at this point in the juncture, spill it. You either know what's happening, or you don't - plain as that. Anything else, and it's purely conjecture. And again, if that's the case, I'd be fine with hearing it- if there were some concrete detail behind it. Otherwise, what's the point? Other than building a following of online individuals who hang on the (non) words you say?

I've put my mark in the sand. I'm saying we're getting Gruden. I have no inside information to back up my point. You apparently do. Either counter my assumption with something concrete, or stop detracting from it.

Things are looking far better on the Gruden front this morning. Look for a possible reemergence of JayVols today as someone who thinks we get Gruden.

Dude, the best you can do with what has happened here is learn from it. People on here know other folks who they assume "WOULD" have top notch information but we ALL fall for that crap. We all... EVERY one on here has the same chance of guessing the right direction. Boosters only get so much. I know a couple big ones and the smartest most level headed ones will tell you... they don't get all of it. I was hopeful. "WAS"... Any Gruden talk at this point is about as productive as reading a Batman comic book.

I have never asked anyone to hang onto the words I have said, I assure you or anyone else if you had heard what he heard from the people who said it, you would feel exactly as we do confused, perplexed and a wth just happened. Just like the guy Hargis (sp?) at the TFP being confident in his story and his sources, we were in ours as well.

I have said all I plan on about the "sources". I still would like to see Gruden as our next HC, he is the only big name out there that excites me.

The exact thing that the OGs said weeks ago. This exact point, the $18 million set aside by Cheek, and the large pot of funds (around $50 million, according to Slice) donated by the heavy hitters to a 3rd party (that according to Slice is still there with no plan to get that money back to the boosters and was promised for ONLY one certain coach) is what I continue to come back to that absolutely makes no sense in the wake of Friday.
