It's funny because a lot of people can't see what is happening. No way he lets his agent leave it like that, Gruden hasn't made a statement at all. That to me is key.

Hope you're right. Because I haven't heard that. Doesn't mean it isn't true. I'm like Boro -- things don't add up to me. Just heard again today about some KPD/UTPD special security preparations for December.????

I still allow for the possibility that Hart screwed it up. I also allow that JG came with unexpected demands at contract time, and our team couldn't agree to do it. But id have to hear it first hand to believe Gruden placed impossible demands on us and really just didn't want to come, or never really wanted the job. Nothing I know about this jives with that. The only thing that might have crept in is he got wind of an NFL gig he wants. Idk

Of course, all of those scenarios are that he is NOT coming. I hope he is, and none of these are true.

When I compare a lot of the things that I hear to the things that he says, they, for the most part, fall in-line.

A lot of people think the dude's nuts, but he's got some fuel behind his fire

I am a simple guy. So here it is for me:

If the hire doesn't come this week; then, I will begin getting excited again. Longer this charade goes on supplies fuel to the gruden hire.

I believe espn schede is the issue.

Just saw Jon Gruden and the MNF ESPN bus at the Ballston Westin. Gruden was wearing a UT visor FWIW..........

I believe you had even said it a few days ago, and it is something I said in my very first post: Gruden had agreed, in principle, a while ago to be the next coach. He shook hands with some pretty big names behind his word.

I don't care how highly you think of yourself or what you think you're capable of doing or getting away with, but you do not agree on something and shake hands with the people he shook hands with and go back on your word. Never. You would have to be the most idiotic person on this planet to betray that kind of power
