When you're working with a once in a lifetime hire like JG, you're going to follow each of his reasonable requests as closely as possible. JG said from the beginning that he wanted this to play out how he wanted it to play out to make for the easiest possible transition. That's what we're doing. Gruden wants to be able to go from one stage to the next without an unnecessary amount of media harassment. We're providing the ideal atmosphere

I still allow for the possibility that Hart screwed it up. I also allow that JG came with unexpected demands at contract time, and our team couldn't agree to do it. But id have to hear it first hand to believe Gruden placed impossible demands on us and really just didn't want to come, or never really wanted the job. Nothing I know about this jives with that. The only thing that might have crept in is he got wind of an NFL gig he wants. Idk

Of course, all of those scenarios are that he is NOT coming. I hope he is, and none of these are true.

Something triggered the brakes. It could be a reporter from outside k-town getting too close or maybe the Browns ownership that was asked about on M&M. He sounded pissed about that. I just think that they were hoping to put this off until later and when it was about to blow up, along comes a junior reporter that gets the scoop from his agent.
Hart could be like David Copperfield, you are watching one hand while the other hand is completing the trick. Like I said before the Circle of Trust is very small with this group.

Wow, even Yoda says Gruden LOL. If Yoda says so, we should all be all in. I haven't came off all in since the beginning, I have gotten worried here and there, but everything the OG originally said have come true. The smoke has gotten so thick, even the OG have lost a little confidence, but they all seem to be back on track now.

I think you know enough to formulate your own beliefs, not second guess yourself and try to make perfect sense of everything. Trust what you know....

I am under the impression that nothing happened. It's like when an entire classroom gets out of control in elementary school: the teacher punishes them all and puts them in time out to control them and prepare them for their next 'learning' installment.

That's what I think we're getting here. I'm still 100% behind my sources and getting Gruden.

Working in the world of law enforcement, it could be a good thing or a bad thing. Could be because they are going to announce a rock star type hire (Gruden) or they are going to announce a third tier type coach (anyone but Gruden) and are afraid people will riot.

I don't consider bcarter as an OG, because when I first started following, he had it as a slim chance of getting done. After he got with some of the OG, people started calling him an OG, but I didn't, because of what he was saying when I first read.
