I've read bucs $ is owed guaranteed in here. Somebody tossed out possibly a quarterly payment from espn.
I applaud you guys for keeping the faith as for me I can't ride the roller coaster any more.
It's why I wondered if there was some proposed timeline for y'all's plan. I haven't seen OG's or SBV after the bad news broke.

Just for the record, is anyone else appalled by the fact that schools like NIU get a BCS game and UGA gets snubbed to the Capital One bowl after losing to what we can only assume are the 2012 Nat'l Champs?

I think he's referring to 4 more games, proportionally on his pay amount from ESPN would be 1.2 mill we/he saves if he waits 3 weeks.

The SECC loser shouldn't have that game count against them IMO.

Imagine the heat Gundy would get when going to opposing sec stadiums for the "I'm a man" speech. Would be epic. Also all the new memories he could make having to play In This conference. Press conferences might make up for losing (if we lost....I kind of like him)

Of course. I do too! The ONLY homerun is Gruden to me....or I should say realistic hire. I know some would disagree that he isn't realistic. Strong is a stand up double to me though.

There's no if, he would lose here. He's had one good season and that's it. Look at him this year.

We're getting the "MAN" a big raise and nothing more. With Hart at the lead it'll be Fisher or it was Gruden all along.

Welcome. I've been on many of the various VOL message boards over the years, but never signed up to post. Have been reading this one for a number years before I signed up.

IMO, this one is the best. It has an excellent variety of Threads to participate in or just lurk, learn and laugh. The mods are good, Freak runs a tight ship and is very helpful. There are alot of knowledgeable posters. You get the usual trolls and negative folks.

I would recommend for the newcomers, who are interested in Tennessee Football, history and writing, take the time to go back and read OneManGang's Weekly Maxim posts from this year's season. They are IMO a must read. If you don't know what Neyland's Maxims are ... easy enough to google.
