CJG talked with RGIII about how spread offense college QB's have surprised some doubters with their sucessful transition to the NFL. He told RGIII he used to love watching him play at Baylor. Also talked about the Heisman race and asked RGIII who he was going to vote for. (Said he would tell him off camera)
You can tell Gruden loves football (college or pro) period.

Same... he is out recruited by other teams in the Big East, and this is his best season yet... at 10-2. I think he may be a good coach, but he is a gamble at this point in his career. Fisher is the most solid option, we know he can recruit, he may underachieve, but he will consistently win 9+ games a year(Richt 2.0), but I don't see any candidate this year that will take us to championships.

That might be true.
We need to decide who has the biggest upside and put our chips there.

I saw a squatch dancing on TV with a pink boa a few minutes ago. I had to go wash my eyeballs out..

Since it was asked, here is Gundy vs the Big 12 Top Dogs:

Texas 2-6; Oklahoma 1-7

The three wins came in 2010 and 2011.
He is 4-2 in bowl games.
He is 13-18 against ranked teams (per Wiki).

Those numbers aren't thrilling, but here's Les Miles' four-year run at Oklahoma State:

Texas 0-4; Oklahoma 2-2

1-2 in Bowls.
3-9 against ranked teams (per Wiki).

Not much to do really. Either Hart has forked us and we'll have a new coach this week per rumor, or the search will have to take it's time to be sure, giving us some delay till Gruden time.

Very sad what this thread has come to. Keep up the Faith Grudenites...Hopefully we'll score the homerun hire

I'm surprised no one has concerns that Gruden would dislike the college game and leave for a big NFL job leaving us blue balled again...
