It's been said several times around here that the boosters were donating to hire Gruden, not just some guy for coach. If the money is earmarked like that it can't be used any other way.

What I posted about discord in TCU's athletic department yesterday was true. At least a quorum of their BOT met. However, at this time, all appears resolved and all the choir is singing off the same hymnal.

Maybe we just got Patterson a raise. Anyway, I'm still monitoring.

Everything points to Hart having someone in the bag early. Gruden or not I believe it is done. Now with all the BS floating around it is impossible to nail down the WHO, however I believe it is going to be BIG. Too much money involved to end up with a little fish. big name is not Gruden, then WHO? Give me some some real home-run hires. Not this Mora, Gundy, Fisher crap... Give me your wish list.

Ok question on this one. Can someone please explain what Hart is doing with the other coaches he is speaking with? He is just interviewing at this time to take the info to the boosters and BOT? I just want off this ride already. :sick: Announce already!

The "smokescreen" theory is one of the least believable theories in all these threads imo. I have never really bought into that, and in hindsight it is even sillier than I originally thought it was.

I understand that below Gruden there is no home-run hire, but the fact that two of the three top names are in a BCS bowl game this year isn't that bad is it? Maybe triples? I mean the fact that we're having to offer in the $4-5 million range means it sure will be a better hire than what we've had, right?
