LMAO.... come on man

Looking more and more like Strong. One certaintiy is that he will recruit well here.

Hart doesn't want to fight for Gruden and the boosters are not putting their money where their mouth is. It's Hart job on the line. Hope he know's what he's doing.

Definitely not on any misdirection lol. Plenty of that here without me. At least Yay4Bray is finally getting sniffed out as a troll. The only thing he has done is spout off in true hit and run style seemingly factual statements without backing any of them up.

Not trying to be an ass, I was ALL IN like the rest of people here were. I just think the "Gruden Thread' would be the place to discuss all things Gruden, even the fact that him coming here was little more than talk amongst boosters, their friends, and on a couple occasions Gruden himself.

But then again the remaining believers will applaud any source that says it is still possible and condemn any source that says otherwise.

Since you're saying Yay4Bray is a troll does that mean you think Jay is also since Jay vouched for Y4B? Jay did vouch for him, right?

Got it now Oddball.... how you doing?

I would like to send you a friend request so I can find you when all this shiz is over???

Just waiting ... you know the drill ... work, check forum, work, check forum, check forum, check forum, work ....

Send away my friend.

I understand that below Gruden there is no home-run hire, but the fact that two of the three top names are in a BCS bowl game this year isn't that bad is it? Maybe triples? I mean the fact that we're having to offer in the $4-5 million range means it sure will be a better hire than what we've had, right?

This is a real question, not me stating this as a fact.

Good point. I still favor Gru, but fisher, strong, and Gundy have all been in the bcs within the last 2 year while we could make bowls

I agree with you, but I don't see getting a coach with much of a track record for less than 4 mil. Just for example (only), if we went for Franklin it would need to be probably mid 4 mil.

I think you're right. I have to add that this is insane. I understand that a good coach is worth it. These salaries really demonstrate the money that college football can make you; only about one fifth of athletic departments made a profit last year. However, some made bank. As in mucho banko.

Since you are here (god knows why), what are your honest thoughts on Strong and why Foley didn't give him a shot?

dk.

foley may have liked muschamp better.

maybe, he didn't want to pull charlie after only one season at louisville

dk

i would have been happy with that hire and know it was rumored

I do not believe anyone in this thread who does a driveby.... If you can't come into this thread, defend yourself and answer honest questions.... I do NOT want to hear it

Feel like I am sitting in the Red Bull Space Jump capsule with just babyvol and Chucky at this point. Prepared to jump if anyone besides Chucky joins Hart on the stage in Knoxville!

GBO!

I have been hearing quotes like "we have a chance at getting a nice coach"...."we will get someone solid"...."whoever we get will be better than Dooley". Wow, we really are THAT program now.

Where would you all rank a Gundy or Strong hire in relationship to the other SEC Coaches? 1-14?

I would have to say around 7-9 range.
