There is NO WAY Currie would have ever agreed to hire this guy!
I HAVE to believe the media has jump to conclusions so how!
But, if I am wrong, and Currie did this, he had to go!

Currie isn't stepping down. The powers to be will have to get together and fire him. He won't leave on his own. Just like Butch if he is fired he gets paid.... It would be money well spent right now.

I don't know this all seem crazy, the thing I don't understand is the media is backing off saying the Hostile fans made it fall through I just don't know if I believe that. If we had that much say in things there would have been a REAL COACH in k-town years ago. is the media back peddling and this is there out? If Currie was really scrambling that would be the last name id come dragging back.

As a UT employee, we have to go through extensive training on being a "mandatory reporter" regarding sexual abuse... this all stems from Title IX ruling related to issues from the past. Hiring this guy would be a slap in the face of the efforts of the University to deal with past problems!

OH MY GOD! I'll say this again.

I hate Schiano! If he becomes our coach I will not support the university any further.

And yes, not telling anyone about Sandusky is one of the move vilest things I have ever heart of. I don't want him for our coach and do NOT support him.

All I did was point out he is NOT a child molestor as someone else said. That's all. I just wanted to correct the record because it was Sandusky to molested kids, not Schiano.

Schiano is scum, he shouldn't be allowed to have a job anywhere because of what he did/didn't do.

STOP telling me its "Almost as bad" yes I know it's "Almost as bad" as molesting children.

Very proud of vol nation today we didn't lay down and let this hire go through. We voiced our options and stopping this nonsense and if I had the funds I would be in the middle with them on campus.

I am absolutely SHOCKED the AD has not addressed this yet.

This is a firestorm, and they are committing PR malpractice by letting this go on.

I cannot wrap my head around it.

just because we don't hire schiano does NOT mean we should settle for a mediocre hire! The events of today should not change anything! if anything, it should cause us to demand a top notch hire now more than before!
