He let Sandusky continue molesting Children and for that he should BURN IN HELL!!!

But I never supported Schiano, I started a ****ing thread with a letter I wrote to John Currie about how I wouldn't be a UT fan after this if we hired Schiano.

I was talking to a friend and he was reading some tweets and some are saying tOSU has students protesting Schiano.

Among my longtime UT friends who have tailgated and donated many dollars over the years. We are done if Currie is not terminated, no matter who he hires as coach. This was a bridge too far. We've made our voices heard. The twenty something odd people I've talked to today are pulling a combined 1+ million dollars in yearly donations from the school. Granted, mine isn't a large portion of that but serious people are seriously mad about this an do not want to be associated with this garbage.

So they make rumors it's Schiano, then announce "hey we got our guy.. it's 'xyz' from 'blah blah with a mediocre record' but *at least* it's not Schiano like the rumors were saying! It's not as good as Gruden but not as bad as Schiano so it's ok?

Or this is what was meant by big, expensive, explosive. (All three meant in a negative way.)

Or it's all internet/news lies and we have Gruden.

It was out of left field for my person, and the response to Schiano has been almost universally negative, internally.

What I think (OPINION) happened goes something like this. Someone decided that in an effort to make Currie's last minute reveal of Gruden a superheroic "Currie saved us" moment, that Schiano would be a good name to use for that purpose. Horrible decision. His name has no business anywhere near this University. Even the inevitable backtracking makes us look bad: "Schiano decides he doesn't want to coach for us because of our fans."

Horribly conceived and executed misdirect, IMO. Whoever came up with it should be ashamed. And the people making the decisions need to seriously stop worrying about John Currie's image and get on with business.

Currie needs to respond to this. Now. Every minute that goes by makes me realize this was true and was his plan. What a stain on our program. Shame on you, Currie.

As a mother, I would never let my son play for this program with that enabling monster at the helm. We deserve better. We deserve someone who respects this university. Until then, I will not support this program as much as it pains me.

For the love of God this isn't a damn smokescreen!! If you are going to make a homerun hire like Gruden you can't wait to announce it! You sure don't float out Schiano's name so the AD looks like a hero my God you can't make these stories up! Currie is hiring Schiano or thought he was going to... hopefully the backlash will stop it from happening and expose Currie, Haslam, and UT admin for what they are.

The roller coaster went way up early with some of the early Gruden rumors. Then it went way down, off the tracks and burrowed deep into the ground with Schiano. Hopefully we can dig it up and put back on the tracks. I just hope it can go up again after,no matter for what reason, this fiasco.

What if this was always the plan. To bring down Schiano because of how higher ups despise him, which includes Peyton Manning.

In the interim, it takes the focus off of Gruden and allows for us to buy more time to hire him. All part of the plan.

On 247, via Brad Hensley, looks like Currie out. See screenshot. TIFWIW but sure hope so after today.

Refused to answer one call pushed others to voicemail
The same night OSU AND Michigan played
Now ****onu breaks as the front runner who's a coach at osu

Either it's just a coincidence or he was up to shady ****

At this point Currie better start Googling HS coaches with the last name gruden cause he isnt going to be let off the hook. Butch JOnes 2.0 isnt happening. This fan base is alive. What a bizarre day. This is our moment lets not give in. This is a day of reckoning

I would agree with this. I was just thinking the same thing, myself. There’s no way that he would want to come work for this A.D. after this 💩 storm.
