But now I have to ask what coach (even second rate one) is going to be willing to be viewed as the coach who was viewed lower than Schiano on our list?Much less getting Gruden. That ship has sailed.

Question as I've been in and out of the loop today, didn't this all stem from a tweet some reporter made several hours ago saying UT was finalizing a deal with GS? Then everyone rolled with it.....

I think the AD may be getting crucified over something he may not of even "smokescreened"..........

This is the best case scenario. No evidence anything came out of UTAD - just unnamed "source." Could this Schiano thing have been started by a media troll and Currie knew nothing of it until it was too late to contain? Could they be forcing his hand to talk by causing Big Orange Country to become enraged beyond belief? This is Currie's only "out" of this mess.

I may be calmer now in this search than I have ever been for some odd reason. Such unchartered territory. But in my mind there now HAS to be the big, expensive, explosive hire in some form or fashion. Just where I am at.

I don't think Gruden is over yet... I think the changing of the guard (so to speak) may have included Currie all along with several others .... I tried to point this out but was often said about me that I was to unstable to understand ...lol

I even thought the Blackburn article was putting added pressure on Currie to hire Gruden... but I have saw person after person who (when you apply pressure) they buckle and go rouge.. I think this is what happened to Currie and he will now be replaced... plan completed

That’s placing a very very big and risky assumption that Schiano would say no or that state reps would step in. Either way it’s a long shot that nobody believes
