Thank you for the info and we must keep the pressure on as much or more than today. We want to know what Haslam is doing and how to push him aside- and where does Dipetrio stand in this? Does he kneel down to Haslam as well? It's concerning since his damn son is the head of BOT.

You’re concern is absolutely warranted with him being the head of the board. That’s why the other BoT members normally don’t go against him...he is the damn governor. Which is why I was told the boosters must whip up the votes to gain a majority and they must influence the BoT that their way is the right way.

In regards to Beavers tweet. Let me further elaborate.

For years Haslam has gotten his way bc he can hand over tens of millions of dollars for any said project. He loves the power. UT is currently more concerned with building upgrades and fund raising than they are building a championship football program. (Ironically that would bring in a ton of money on its own).

If Haslam is to be stripped of his power and influence, the other boosters must cover what UT would be losing from Haslam.

Here are the questions that will be answered in the weeks to come...

1.Can the boosters organize and out Haslam?
2. Can they influence the BoT that they’ll cover the financial loss of Haslam?
3. Can they influence a vote of the BoT to go against the governor and Haslam family to vote out Currie?
4. Can this be done in time to get a new AD and get a quality coach to secure the future of UT and salvage this recruiting class. (Yes gruden could still be in play if all of the above happens).

Power is one hell of a drug

But you can’t account for a rogue AD. Hart did it and now Currie. Seems like the AD isnt the problem. It’s who they report to that needs to go. And keep their gasoline smelling, cinnamon roll selling hands away from TN athletics.

1000% correct rev and every vol fan needs to be aware of the sick azz who keeps putting his hands in UT football. Go back to Cleveland and tend your own mess!

I wanted to believe them and it all sounded plausible. I do however fault all of them for their fake news and trying to inflate their e-cred when they knew all along they had nothing.

If what you say is true then it's your fault not theirs. I understand your anger...i do but point it at yourself. Now put your big boy pants on now and test your mettle. We haven't made a hire yet. Chin up.

Hearing Brohm was contacted tonight. If so, someone better jump in or we will have another MOU signed before we can his butt. What the actual hell is going on?

Looks like the AD is in scramble mode....kinda like are QBs this season.

That would mean JG turned us down before 2 weeks ago? According to reports they went after schiano a while back. I'm not being argumentative...It's just crazy to go from Jon Gruden to Schiano. Taking the psu stuff out of it, he's just not that impressive.

I don't believe it progressed quite that way, I believe Mullen was going to be option #2 but told Currie no, that he was going to wait out Florida. This is a panic hire after some others jobs went how they went.

The Haslam's have contributed closer to 50 times your 5,000,000 number to the University, their contributions are beyond athletics. They gave around 50 million dollars in 2006-2007 alone. There's a reason the business school is named after them.

I really wish more people would respect and appreciate this family. They have done more for the University than nearly anyone else, in history.

Sure seems like the Haslams might be the common denominator in the unraveling of our program. After this fiasco a quality coach hire will be a stroke of luck measured in the future. Fire Currie in his pajamas tonight and clean out the athletic department and relegate boosters to a democratic role through equality by votes counting no matter how much you donate..

Things can be two things at the same time:
-they can have done great things in terms of giving $ for projects and buildings
-they can have incorrectly wielded the great power that comes with that giving and ruined our football program

Schiano signed MOU...not actual contract. VN went wild, Currie reneged the offer. Was indeed in Columbus to bring the deadbeat back to K-town and announce. Much of media reporting this way.

There was something on Twitter earlier this afternoon that when the stance against the hire started, Currie was asked to leave then was escorted from the campus.

What makes you think Gruden wants any part of this 💩 Show now?

Nope. Don't care. Beaver has consistently over-exaggerated his role in this and misled everyone on here to believe Gruden was a done deal six weeks ago.

If he's lurking (and I suspect he is) he's more than capable of setting the record straight. He may play golf at the Honors and know his scotch, but for damn sure he is not connected in the right spots within the UT AD.

No more riddles and cryptic messages.

Divisive figure for sure. No worries, some people enjoy his tweets yet don't use twitter so there it is.

I have no idea what his connection may or may not be.

I will say this: If I did have a source and had posted info from them anonymously, at this point I would drop a dime on all of them for feeding me BS.

I am down to Atlanta_VOL as the one insider I do not question in regards to his information or motive.

You seem like someone that could have connections. You debunked the CCC rumor.

Is there anything you have heard that could shed some insight into the last few weeks?

I'm sorry. I wish I could. I'm dumbfounded. Everyone's dumbfounded. This took me by complete surprise. I'm demanding answers just like the rest of you. Unfortunately, the night is late and I doubt any of those answers will come before morning.

they just tried to sneak a pedo enabling coach through the back door. This after beeing the driving force of the past 2 disaster hires.

They are scum and no longer welcome to be apart of this program.
