What bothers me most about Schiano is that it is being reported that he and Currie go way back. That could seriously suck for us.

I know people say things they don’t mean when they get angry, but if you truly are going to cease being a Vol fan over the hiring of a coach ... then go bandwagon elsewhere. The Big Orange doesn’t need your kind.

Guys like you need to go anyway. We don’t need half a$$ fans. I can understand the negativity on Shiano. I get that one. But if Mullen is named coach I will still support our Vols and will give him a chance just like I did botch. You guys have to understand that Currie is obviously trying to make this Gruden thing work. If it doesn’t then it doesn’t. We still need a new coach at the end of the day.

Currie is impressive.

Schiano is such a good leak because Currie/the AD knows how beligerent the fan base would be at that hire. Both morally and with his record.

Gruden will taste even sweeter to us with it being Gruden vs Schiano instead of Gruden vs Petersen.

Currie becomes an even bigger hero.
