Why does there need to be a “backup plan” if Gruden has already agreed to coach? Personally, I think this board has been fed a lot of B.S. re Gruden by some attention seakers.

If Currie simply needs to feign a coaching search to appease Gruden’s personal interests, that only makes sense in a short-term sense. Surely we won’t play that game until MNF finishes - recruiting cannot wait until January.

This hire is going to be the most important one in my lifetime and I remember when Dickey was hired. The program is in a more precarious place than it's ever been.

There is no way they are going to hire Schiano. To bring him in with all his Penn State baggage is public relations suicide especially when you factor in all the sexual assault publicity we've dealt with over the last few years.

Now add in what's going on in the national news on sexual assaults and harassment. No way in hail does it happen.
