I absolutely think he would be coaching here this year if we didn't have Mo, Larry and fawking Curly running the show up there.
Give me Alabama's Administration, and Jon is recruiting Friday.
To hell with anybody that thinks I'm crazy. Boon!
Considering where we were two days ago, Gundy would be an amazing hire. I honestly thought we would be hiring an assistant from somewhere who was desperate for a HC job.
Gundy is the real deal folks. The only reason he wasn't on my short list weeks ago was I didn't think he was in play.

How's it going Hawk? How were the seats?
Even if he hires Gruden, I'm thinking Currie can kiss my azz.
I've sent my emails to DiPietro, as far back as the AD search (alot of good that did); on Nov 8th to the Alumni Affairs Mook asking me for more $$; and recently to Davenport, et.al.
After over 30+ years of donations and season tix, I may be done.
(1) May not be similar money--ESPN may reduce his salary
(2) He just may want to coach at UT. We just don't know
(3) Gruden, by all accounts, is a workaholic. That is probably not an issue.
If you asked me if I would coach a MLB team for what I'm making now working on avg about 4 hrs. a week, I would jump at coaching the baseball team. So, money may not be the motivator.
But, one point you made is valid. He may not want to coach college, but I don't think he has ever said that. All he has said is he would have your program on probation because he would want to work with players more than the NCAA allows.

Reported on 247 by an "insider" that Fulmer has been put in charge of the coaching search. Thought that firing Currie would be announced before Fulmer installed, but who knows? Not putting much stock in it at this point. But, that would also indicate Davenport may have switched sides from Haslam to the good guys.
To be fair to FD he actually gave us something tangible to think about. He said is info without giving away too much and pointed to a specific example of Haslam's ego on display
All you did was say you had some kind of damning info and then tried tell everyone to keep fighting a fight that we have no proof of something going on, only hearsay.
So maybe just maybe some people don't want to be made to look like fools again with and fight something with no real proof
Seats were amazing. As you predicted. AV is a class act.
I don't know how many more acts this play has but I think it's about played out. I just hope we want a curtain call when it's all done.
