In the words of Rick Flair, "To be the man, you have to beat the man".

Everything that we were led to believe in these threads, could be true and still not be complete. Why? Because Haslam did not get to where he is by giving up easily. He played his pocket Kings. So we are waiting on the flop. I am a little disappointed that the "don't lose" crowd was not prepared for this move.

If we the fans give up and argue about coaches or settle, instead of putting our disgust to work against the administration, then the administration gains an advantage. I think that is what Exile is trying to tell us.

Ignorant question... please forgive me but if the Gundy hires goes through, can the booster/BOT or anyone veto the hire?? Seems there is a lot of talk about buying time for necessary step to be put in place for the future of UT.

I’m 100% fire before hire and I’m solely asking due to curiosity.

This can't be said enough. If he wants to coach the Vols... Say it, the entire ****ing state would explode and 10,000s would be marching in the streets.

The sheer amount of love would be overwhelming and we would take the national stage yet again.

Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that he doesn't want to be here now. .. Maybe due to the **** show that our administration actually is.

I was an OG back to 2012 and sniffed that **** like cocaine. I knew from the get go that Butch Jones sucked balls and the majority of the fanbase pissed me off in their blind support of the trumpet blower.

At this point I'm rambling, but am struggling to move on.

At one point, I think he wanted to be here, not now
We ****ed it up (again)
There will never be another chance
I'm heartbroken that our program will continue to wander in the wilderness for years to come

Yep. One quick 5 second clip of him saying this and every resident in the State of Tennessee would be standing at the AD office.

Do you know if the results are real time? I ask because when real estate changes hands it takes some time to update the tax records. If it's the same, it's entirely possible the individual listed is who UT bought it from, not who the record shows it belongs to. Just a thought..

When the dust is settled and everything has played out, will you (or knuck, though I know you can't speak for him) be able to divulge more about what went down?

And to this point we dont have a new head football coach.

But we do have a backstabbing fraud booster running our Ath Dept with his lap dog Currie. That booster got exposed on Sunday and then criminally exposed today in Federal Court!

So peddle your shyte elsewhere.

Agreed and if Frost is really off the board then how come he hasn't signed with Nebraska yet?

You'd think with such a sure thing that he would've already been signed or at least rumored to be in talks with Nebraska

Yes, they'll have plenty of time to make something up. It'll go a little something like this:

Boosters got Gruden to agree to a deal, Currie said nah. Currie then went "rogue" under the order of Haslam and tried to hire Schiano.

Basically they'll say that the boosters tried to conduct the coaching search without the AD being involved one bit, and some idiots will believe it.

I jumped on the kiffin train when it was obvious we weren't getting gruden because of the incompetency of haslam and his puppet currie.

Most likely because he has a conference championship this weekend. Probably wanting his team focused.
