Jay, never been to Denver but many moons ago my dad took the family to a conference in Durango and I believe we stayed at Tameron (i think) resort, It was great and Colorado was beautiful!!! :rock:

I'm all for Gruden, but you guys are wrong who are comparing strong to Dooley , all I can do is laugh, it's ignorant to even say that.

I agree. And I may be guilty of having done the same. But I think the sentiment arises by comparison. On a spectrum where JG is the far right and DD is the far left, you'd have to zoom in pretty far to see significant separation between CS and DD.

It was a Fwiw post. A Louisville booster told me they had counter offer a 3.7mil 5yr offer on try and keep him. He is very well connected with a number of AD members there. Like I said fwiw

So if we had to counter offer at 4mil for Strong, do you still think he is a good value.

Consider carefully that Urban Meyer makes 4.5 at tOSU.

That would likely make Strong in the top 10 coaching salaries.

David Shaw at Stanford makes 1.5 mil a year. Chip Kelly makes 2.8.

I do not post much and have been watching for awhile till signed up. As a high school player, Fumler invited me to an invite to see Tennessee play as a recruit. I was not what they wanted, but always watched how they played. I want the program go back to being the capital of the South in football. People in my area call me crazy about Gruden and our chances. I am not happy with how this process has gone, but I feel we need to get behind our next coach. Please be Gruden, but from Virginia we will behind our program.

yes but what you didn't answer is.. who has he recruited that makes him a great recruiter. A 1st rounder, all-american? Last I heard his 2013 class is 73rd. And what makes you think he will be a good coach at UT?
