If we are interviewing Tressel then they are definitely throwing up smoke. No way they would hire someone who lied to the NCAA after getting our probation extended, plus just firing a guy for lying to the NCAA.

(not the exact words) , but that doesn't sound like a 2nd tier hire would take place. He set some lofty goals with his words. Words that could be used against him if this doesn't go right. I agree. I spoke with a friend this morning about Davis. This friend was at UNC when Davis was there.

He said that Davis was an incredible coach and a relentless recruiter, and one of the best judges of talent a lot of the coaches had ever seen.

Davis is all of those things. That is true. But he would have us on probation in no time flat. I am believing until I see someone else besides Gruden step up to the mic.

When it comes to this coaching search, nothing surprises me anymore. Friday depressed the hell outta me. I haven't been here near as much since then. I'm still hoping Gruden can happen but its looking like Hart may sh*t the bed on this hire. It's all wait and see at this point dude.

I was/am excited about strong. I posted around 5 last night that I was told by a Louisville booster they were going to try to make offer to keep him. So I never said it was completely done. I know nothing different from then.

If I remember correctly, you bashed Boro pretty hard and made some sort of statement about saving a post on who really knows what's going on which was eluding to you. Is Strong our coach Bruin? I must have missed the presser.

Davis...the hat guy..then Tressel/Petrino/Fulmer nonsense
