We'll just have to disagree on the strong thing. There is nothing that I can see that will get me excited for this hire. I have looked at his recruiting, his experience, and his record. Nothing there for me. I obviuosly expect more from this hire than you. Nobody can say anything other than his recruiting while at Florida and his D at Florida. He was passed on by Florida.

I believe Tressel is a great coach. His teams at Ohio State weren't built to compete with SEC speed. At Tennessee, he will get different players.

I am not bothered by your honest questions and issues with the Gruden senerio now being presented.

Anyone with a brain would have such questions. I want Gruden, I have always wanted him and still do, for that reason...I keep the door open. It is based on hope that this IS what the OG's said would happen.

I see the possibilty of Strong being our next coach very likely...but I still hold out hope for Gruden and each day that goes by without a coach being named my hopes rise

I have never claimed to know exactly what was going on. The post you speak of was in regards to what the media were saying. UtTodd was claiming nobody had interviewed and my response was regarding that

Nope. "Strong fans" are basically the ones that hop on whatever Bandwagon is being reported as the front runner in the media. They'll hop to the next gravy train after U of L gives him a sweet ass offer

I'm in for Gruden until someone else steps up to the podium, but have 0 % faith in Hart. I really believe we're looking at Fedora, Smart ( Hart's choice ), or Fulmer. I don't think Hart is planning on being here to listen to the protests.

BTW, what ever happened to the "bomb" UT was supposed to drop last night? I believe that was ESPN reporting that.
