As far as recruiting.. I think he actually would have an advantage.
He would have the traditional draw range of the Tennessee program (assuming Dooley hasnt destroyed it) but would also have a draw from the big 10 and the long time Tressel devotees.
I think it is an exciting recruiting play.

Still want Gruden dont get me wrong

not to mention, what's one more year of no bowl since we've already been without one for two years...He misses the Oregon and Florida Games...BUT we will have him for every other big game that year

Charlie Strong has to be a smoke screen. Talking to a buddy and the first thing he said was no way the "good old boys" allow Hart to hire a second black HC for the highest two profile jobs in UT. I never thought of that but...

I'm not a Strong fan but it would be sad if the reason he doesn't come to UT is because of the color of his skin. There are several legitimate reasons for him not to be at UT but this is not one of them.
