I'm guessing, but you have one day of stories that we offered and then a whole other day of they turned it down. It kind of drags the process out over more days than just they interviewed. I'm just guessing because I have the same question.

True, but the actual "offers" and "turn downs" make it a little more public and embarrassing. I get it with Gundy, because he's Sexton's guy, but Strong not as much. It's all just weird.

No quesiton. It just seems very strange if the embarrassment itself was all deliberate and part of the plan. I get the interviews, but the reported offers and rejections, not so much.
