Me either. "If" Gruden turned us down bc Hart didn't agree to terms, he knows now if Fedora turns us down he has no choice and we get our guy.

I'm still saying Hart has done a great job making this interview process look "legitimate". I believe we have and have had our guy for sometime. Just buying Gruden more time to finish out MNF

Phone call to Gundy and Strong from Zook:

"Hey guys, it has been a while since we chatted..... Pleasantries exchanged..... Let me tell you something....I have a deal for you guys - but you have to really play along - play it up - Charlies do a presser and flub it up - move that autograph session.... Mike have one of your beat reporters send a tweet about your contract mess last year and that is still running around in your mind. UT will leak that offers are being made in the 3+ million range... Set up interviews with Hart.... after interviews let in stew..... You are all but guaranteed fat raises and contract extensions.. just play along.. you won't be offered a job but your pockets will get more full and your fan base will love you guys for staying put! If this were the case (and we would never know), could Vol Nation find it in their hearts to forgive Zook for Faxgate?

Ok...I've been off the Gruden train because I thought it was literally to crazy all the conspiracy theories so I will bite....if one more does turn us down say Fedora....when do we hear we are making another run at Gruden?

It will then go to Butch Davis, a mystery candidate big name we do not know bs reference and finally Chip kelly tressel and Fulmer this will buy them the time imo

Why i the f'ing hell would getting 3 different coaches to publicly turn you down be part of some long drawn out plan to land Gruden?

I don't even fully believe Gruden is out of the picture, but this idea that having your brand embarrassed and publicly diminished is all part of a grander plan is absolutely the dumbest freaking thing I've ever heard in my life.

IMO, the theory is that it is all about egos, even some important people letting Dave Hart hang himself out to dry, though I don't buy into the idea that anyone is trying to force him out.

Speculation: Hart is a lone wolf, and apparently determined to do things his way... Let him see where it will take us...
