Smokey you have the best attitude about this whole thing!!!

I try to keep a good attitude but it's difficult to do with all the ups and downs...I've had my share of down moments the last few days but then i pick myself up and get motivated.:crazy:

I have been trying to keep up with the media and Twitter for everybody the entire time. Some people got upset when I posted the negative stuff but whatever. I like to read it all.

Do we want a coach that's gonna play the race card every time he doesn't get what he wants?

I think Strong is the best candidate outside of JG but I hate that kind of attitude and my best friend growing-up and 3 college roommates were black.. I've seen some racist **** but that attitude isn't wrong.

I could certainly agree with butch. Like I said I was really wanted him when LaneK was hired. I had brianK second and didn't want lane. Oh well.

No, that's not what happened.

The only time Strong was a coordinator at UF when they hired a head coach was when Urban replaced Zook and retained Strong. They were not going to fire Zook and then replace him with an assistant on the fired coach's staff.

Strong was at UofL during Urban's final season. They could have hired him after just one season of 7-6 football, but they picked Muschamp. He may not have bolted so soon out of loyalty though, IDK.

The racism comment was a general comment in regards to nobody having offered him a head coaching job. It was not specifically directed at his current employer at the time, UF. He said that in early 2009. At the end of 2009, he went to UofL.

It will be hard for many to get excited and that's ok but I hope those people are willing I see the responses from our players and recruits. There is a reason jay graham old recruits last week strong was being considered. He knows he will draw attention.

You really do seem to always be trying to put Hart and the admin in the best light!

I think so. If I remember correctly, he actually coached a game. 2004 Peach Bowl and lost. So yes, he was available.

I read something before that every coach that doesn't get the job never interviewed and the one coach that gets the job is the only one who did. Is that true? :question:
