What? There is no way that is serious.. I am almost postitive that the AD and Lamontes office have better things to do than read a message board.

I wont say one bad thing about him if he is hired. Until he loses a recruit or loses a game lol, jk...

Well guy's if all else fails. Lets get the most attractive woman wearing designer outfits all in power T fashion. So at least we can say " yea we suck", but our coach is hot as hell.

There may be some truth to that regarding other schools, or there may not.
But, it is absolutely ridiculous to suggest that race played a role in UF hiring Urban Meyer instead of a staffer on the fired coach's staff.

I get the feeling if we hire Strong, I will be setting people straight regarding UF and Strong from now until next September. GBO

At that time he wasn't experienced as a DC to be favorable as a possible candidate to the Florida AD. Had he won the peach bowl, he coulda got an interview, but I believe that is as far as he would have. In the end I think he would agree with the point that he made the wise choice.

Luckily for whoever the hire is recruiting will be the first victory. DD had done so poorly this year any hire will certainly improve our ranking

I agree. I don't see many programs especially one like Florida doing that.

I personally think the Gruden idea is dead right now. However, I just wonder...if our search isn't going well and we get turned down a few times...that the $$$ group might get fed up with the embarrassment they have created with this program and go throw the necessary money at Gruden.

Thing I find funny...none of the Grudenites invade other threads belittling Charlie Strong or whoever posters because they believe their announcement is coming this week...SMDH...

That's sort of what I'm praying for ...

But, really, we couldn't be that lucky, right? I just don't feel like we have any mojo going. The more likely outcome is we hire another no-name from the discount rack.

That's just the way it seems to go ...
