If we were willing to throw 4 mil at Strong or Gundy or Mora, I cannot understand for the life of me, why we did not put the full court press on David Shaw.

Sure, it would have been a long shot, but you have to at least try. He is making 1.5 mil at Stanford. At least we could have gotten him a raise. He deserves it.

Man I really like the way his teams play football.

With how poorly we have done so far I would expect us to finish right around that 15 mark

I just don't see Gundy leaving his Alma Marta, I could be wrong idk if he is a sec coach. Strong is Dooley 2.0 and a big risk which may prove a death sentence for the next 3 years.

^^^^^This is wherr the money is at. We need a coach that puts butts in the seats.

My question is who is he gettin as d coord. Their d at OK St is as bad as ours was this year and normally has to outscore because of the defense. Sound familar

he just wants everybody to except mediocritiy because he has.Thats what the fans have done for the last 3 years and now they are going to get another 3 or 4 years of it.this fan base will be more divided than ever before.

I deffinately agree with this. It would have been nice to at least get his name in the mix. His teams play hard on both sides of the ball and one the line. I would rather chase him than Fischer.

Soooo glad that I buy tickets to see my team play regardless of the coach bc I am a TN fan. I'm not takin my support away if I don't get what I want....

And TN will not miss my contribution if I don't buy a ticket bc TN is bigger than any fan or coach...

Well put. Have you checked demand for $TIDE PRIDE$$ seats lately? Bama has cash flow my friend, and personally, I was embarrassed seeing the gobs of empty seats at the Kentucky game. I'd call this a low water mark. Only consolation is that I'd rather be us than Auburn. They dug their hole quicker than we did, but it's deeper I think.

if youre a top 5 program you hire a top tier coach, a head coach with a ring is the highest win in your sport. Buckfleyes got Meyer, Bammer got Saban. You get what you pay for imo.

Me to Bruin what a hard year to take I was so pumped I thought 8-4 at worst, but then who could have predicted the 4th worst hire in history behind Kiffin's 3rd Dooley 2nd and Dave Clawson 1st. I think if Dave didn't get hired Fulmer is still our coach
