been a vols fan since 2008. i did not get to relish in the glory days of 1998. i have since made it a part of my history as i graduated from UT, but i don't have the curse of reliving what once was. Granted my loyalty is not as deep as some, but i am passionate for what lies ahead. i do not posess the sense of entitlement that come with being a long time vol. but i am a vfl, and it just bums me out to hear fans threaten to stop supporting our football team bc we might not be able to land a super bowl winning coach. I'm looking for the glory days of tomorrow!

What happens when Wednesday rolls around and no presser, no Charlie Strong and no Gundy? After last Friday's let down, I don't know if the fan base can put up with this much longer. Of course I am hoping there isn't a presser unless it is to announce Gruden, which wouldn't be any time soon.

I'm sorry but you don't have decent conversations with trolls. I've been in here for 15 Gruden threads and know who I can have a conversation with.

Not to say I won't re-up in a couple years, but it will take time for me to support Hart with my money again.

This may sound childish or immature to some, but damnit, this Coach search should have brought in a DAMN big fish for my Vols.

Nothing wrong with taking a wait-and-see approach regarding tickets. We've been burned long enough.

I don't think he is going to be coaching at UT but I am still hoping. I don't think DH and UTAD will do enough or have the ability to sell UT Football to JG. :cray:

We made numerous offers and finally we realized the jerk had no intentions of ever accepting any offer we made. It was the. Our duty to go find a candidate that wanted to bring us back to dominance.

gruden just gave out a gunden grinder tshirt, man he looks happy now. he also held the tshirt up and said "this best i can do" whatever that means

Don't worry, it's kind of like natural selection. Get rid of the idiots in the fan base and it will make the University stronger.

I think that pedigree is more important than the money aspect. And I think that some top assistants may be reluctant to hitch their cart to Strong given his statements about being passed over due to his race. There are many younger up and coming coaches who simply do not think that way nor want to be associated with that mind-set.

If Harts final 3 list is Strong,Gundy and Fendora and they still have a chance at Gruden they better get the arse in gear and get GRUDEN get him money for his asisstants if that truly is a hangup. Much Much riskier going with any of them 3 than pay some more money and get Gruden, the money will come back in SPADES!! What part of that is hard to understand, again this is if we have a shot. If we do and he is going to go with one of them because of money for assistants he is not worthy of being our AD! I hope that is not the case, we shall find out sometime or another maybe SOON! GO BIG ORANGE!! GET US A WINNER!!!:rock:
