I just do what I'm told for the most part. Fun is fun, but business is business. Some people needed to be reminded of that at the right time. they know who they are.

The decision has been made... But Unfortunately this isn't over administratively for the University. Trust me, some of the people who feel isolated will make sure that their side of the story comes out. Not sure if that's
going to do any good....but I guess if
vindication is your thing....

We all want the same thing. I will say that some are more "committed" than others. We'll see.

I support the University and team.

Word Im hearing is deal was all but signed with Gruden last night - one hold up was money for Zook. they got money.

total pay for all coaches $11 mill included R Morris, T Martin, Graham, Jeremy Bates.

As of 2:30 am everyone thought deal was completed. Everyone wakes up this moring and Hart had pulled huge rope a dope... did deal on his own with Jones.... Most if not all booster were shocked this morning to find out about jones deal.

stuff went on in dark of night last night!!!

Dang - absolutely couldn't sleep at all last night - got booted off the server at 4:00pm central and tried to get back in until past midnight...I'm sad...but appreciative fall all all of you OGs and Grudenites brought to this thread...

Part of owning up to a mistake is coming clean, not just saying "I'm sorry".

It's so easy to say "I wont reveal my sources", especially when there are none or at least none worth putting 100% faith in.

In the end its a matter of integrity. Tell the truth and the WHOLE truth.

You might as well give it up if you're referring to boro. I've asked him a very simple question four times & he won't respond. I'm not asking for names of sources either. Tells me all I need to know.

rjd70 is the funniest of them all - started with "A Strong HC and Petrino OC package has to potential to be really appealing, depending on the make-up of the rest of the staff." Changed to "I'm sorry, anybody believing Strong will be able to recruit and compete with Miles and Saban is delusional." And then finally admitted "I'm confused as hell." Hypocritical much? HAHA!

I may be new to VolNation.com but I am certainly not new to the love of all things UT. I am not new to admitting I was wrong and supported the wrong candidate. I am not new to reading a thread and deciding for myself if I believe the information provided or not.. and making my own decisions. You chose to come here and read the OG's provided information - nobody forced you. They owe nobody any explanation because those that believed (myself included) believed the information was accurate. They were wrong.. OH WELL.. nobody is perfect. I am still grateful that at least they tried to help and gave us fun and excitement for a brief period of time in our lives.

And yeah, I am casting stones in defense of the OG's, but at least they went out on a limb to try and provide us with information we could not find from Hart or the media. At least a few of them admitted they ended up being wrong. You were wrong too, and I am sure you are embarrassed as well, but lashing at on this board at the OG's is just ridiculous. I still gave my word to folks, but I will say this. The information came from the booster/Gruden side of the equation. I am a man of my word, wouldn't have come back if I weren't.

This simply isn't true. The consequences for those sources could be dire if they were revealed. I respect these people for having the character to not jeopardize their sources jobs just to quell your thirst for blood and desire to flame those sources. It's not practical and quite frankly pretty stupid of everyone demanding to know the sources.

I was holding out hope until the press conference, but after seeing this picture I realized we're screwed.

The two adults on the right are the assassins of UT football. I will forever despise them with ever fiber of my being for what they have done to the University I love.

I said I would be here regardless. I am a man of my word. Fire away. With the recent events, my give a **** meter is officially at zero.

Those who think you guys were trolling are dumb as hell...it should be obvious to anyone who has paid attention to this search that Gruden was very very much a possibility. Cheek and Hart should be ran out of Knoxville. Thanks for the months of entertainment, more excitement than anything we have seen from the football program in years.

and i didnt say i had inside sources saying strong was coming, nor did i try to make people think strong was 100% coming. and they didn't go out on a limb for anything, other than to prove how little they really knew. and yes i'll support whoever our coach is, i won't get mad and say i'm becoming a TAM fan.

Thanks for the update Jay. Clearly your sources were close. We know you not to be a fraud. Negotiations change over time. I will be looking for your posts in years to come. I appreciate you and the other OG's love and devotion to UT despite what the nay sayers are so venomously spewing. There is no shame in wanting and believing in more for that which you care about.
