On a side note, Hart did say that BJ was working off a MOU right now. So, you're telling me there is a chance!

This is a football coach not a member of the debate club.

Dooley sounded good, but he was a cotton candy sounding debater.

This guy talks like a football coach. I was motivated listening to him and his past teams seem to have wanted to play hard for him, too.

Sorry dude, don't feel stupid at all. Only person I told about Gruden other than this thread was my wife of 20 years and my son who thinks I'm the greatest anyways. I had a great time hoping for a big time hire. That did not happen obviously so I will support whomever leads our Vols into battle each Saturday. I encountered some really nice people on here and the occasional a$$h@le like you.

I sure as hell hope Jones gets this program moving. I don't think this is the best hire Hart could make, but who knows. I'm interested to see what kind of recruiting we get from him over the next two months. Getting a fantastic dual-threat QB is beyond critical.

Alright, well I still think Cheek and Hart flubbed this whole thing, but I'm encouraged by CBJ. Time will tell, but here's to hope, and that's more than we've had for some time now. See you folks around the threads. #VFL

He said tee was a great coach, he had several people he wanted to reach out to and tee would be one of them. His voice got lower as the sentence went on. I dunno, seems to me if he was enthusiastic about tee, it would have been more of a "certainly I look forward to talking to tee and gauge his interest. If I find he fits the profile I am looking for in a coach, then I certainly would want him on board and would offer him a position". His answer sounded more like a "we'll see" which is what I tell my kids when the answer is "no" lol :)

I just don't have great words to stay I appreciate the OG's for their info and i don't really know what to think about the way dave hart, jimmy cheek or whoever went steaming ahead with this thing. I think either or probably debunked the boosters that wanted to get the guy all of volnation wanted so if this is a fail hire which may or may not be we will be going back to drawing board once again. never have been able to understand how do you go from getting a caddillac to getting the gremlin when you have the right money guys in the right places wanting to get this deal done.
