I’ve been consistent. The biggest concern for those running the NCAAT is the ratings, NOT making sure that the blue bloods have it easy. Having the blue bloods advance helps the ratings. So do the Cinderella stories and other story lines (K’s ride into the sunset). As long as Dook can advance by simply being the better team then there is no need to give them assistance. A Dook blow out isn’t what they want either in Prime Time on a Saturday night. The NCAAT doesn’t want to refund the advertisers by failing to deliver the excellent ratings book.

Gonzaga brings the west coast eyeballs. Baylor brings the 5th most populated state with 3 of the country’s largest cities.

I just can't go for Villanova. I just don't like Jay Wright. I used to like the guy but unless I'm misremembering he seemed to have made a condescending remark about our game earlier in the year.

Jay Wright is a class act. Highly doubt he would say something condescending about any team.

Wright just keeps on getting it done. Some guys are just tournament coaches. Looks like Musselman may be turning into one. I hate being stuck in a position of having to hope they win. I just can't take K winning any more. He's as slimy as they come regarding NCAA rules and they have never even dared sniff around him, no matter how many cars, jobs for families of recruits, houses for player familes, and how much money they were paying for player.

Amen, brother. Guys like Wright and Barnes do it the right way. K blathers on about "Duke culture", but couldn't make the move to one-and-dones fast enough. Culture? These kids aren't on campus long enough to even know their way around. Really wanted to see him go out early, but now the NCAA will go balls out to get that matchup with UNC.
