She said men are wimps. She's done it on women with not a lot of problems, but she said men don't have the tolerance they do (they get hemorrhoids from child birth, so they've had worse pain). She said she had a guy faint on her. You have to be on all 4s on a table, and she said they had to catch him from falling to the ground.
It's going to be the worst 15 minutes of my life.
Set up a go fund me account. You can't do this awake man. No way.
The shear anxiety alone would make me crazy.
I'm only supposed to really feel pressure, not actual pain, but the pressure makes it a mental thing I guess.
I'll load up on percocet before I go, then with the local, IDK...you can probably tell I'm trying to keep myself upbeat about it hahaha
Alrighty, I just found out I'm having surgery tomorrow to fix the remaining hemorrhoid.
I had the choice of going under and paying an f-ing hospital $2300 basically just for rent, or do it at the proctologist's clinic (with local anesthetic) at no charge. I chose the latter.
So, I guess this is goodbye forever?
If she's done it on the reg, I'm not that worried. It's gonna suck, no doubt, but I have a decent amount of tolerance for pain. I wasn't out when my wisdom teeth were pulled, and I had 2 compacted.
I can't handle going to the dentist for more than a cleaning. I've had my wisdom teeth pulled twice. Both times knocked out. When my jaw was broken and the put in a plate and screws I set up on the table during surgery. The doc said it took 30% more meds than it should have to keep me sedated. Self conscious I guess.
I don't like needles. And the idea of one being used on my rectum??? Hell no!
You are more of a man than me.
Prayers buddy.
The thing that really blew my mind is my doctor said she could do it today, on the spot and that I could drive home 40 miles right after.
FML, that was just too crazy for me. Doing it tomorrow afternoon means I can drug myself up well before and I don't need to miss work.
Maybe in one way. You do manual labor for a living. I'm not saying I'm above that. I did landscaping for 18 months in college, and I loved it, but no way am I man enough to do that **** for 30 years, or whatever, but thanks. :hi:
