Who knew that if you wanted to have a reasonable discussion after a loss the politics forum was the place to go? Does this mean that if I want to have a reasonable discussion about politics I should go to the football forum?

I'm pretty certain the words "reasonable" and "football forum" have never collided in the same universe.

The amount of "fahr butch" posts is embarrassing. We lost in double overtime to 19 Oklahoma,not to toledo or Kentucky...

I will admit, blowing a 14 point lead does get me to questioning his abilities at this point.

I've given him a fair shot at this point. But year three is make or break time. And with the talent we have, there is no reason we shouldn't be smoking fools left and right.

Sure question but it was game 2 against a good team and we took it to the wire. A loss is a loss but it's hardly the end of the world. 8,9,or maybe even 10 games is still possible.

He's a great recruiter, hard worker and seems to be a good guy. That said, he and his staff are extremely weak in actual coaching ability. We have a bottom 3 staff when it comes to schematics and adjustments. Great recruiting, poor coaching; it is what it is. Our talent has to overcome our coaching disadvantage to win. Tough to do in this conference.

It was a combination of things that happened.

Our coaching staff did not appear to make the changes to counter the changes OU made in 2nd half.

I think Butch made a mistake by settling g for a FG on the first series being inside the 1. I have seen FG vs TD bite TN in the azz way to many times

Our defense had 3 penalties that were unnecessary that led OU points.

Dobbs played a terrible 2nd half. I know at one point during the 4th qtr, the announcers stated he was 3 for 12 in his last 12 attempts.

Dobbs made bad throws and bad decisions. It looked to me like he was clearly rattled.

Where was Kamara? It appears to be he wasn't in the game near as much as he was againt BG


Were we tired in the 4th qtr or did the Sooners players want it more.

It was a good showing but to lose after being up by 17 is unacceptable. TN has to learn to finish.

With the talent on this team, anything less than 8 wins is a failure.

That's always been my thing. When I was 22 I got a surprise intervention, and my aunt said 'you just drink and drink and drink, but you just sit there having normal conversations like you're not even drunk'

I just wish id posted back when I was on drugs, it would've been all metaphysical, like Ricky Williams getting it on with HST, and some football space aliens.

One idiot posted that OU was just an "average" team. Yet they were and still are ranked higher than us so explain this logic.

the VN FF is like a bunch of teenage girls. We lose a game and suddenly the season is over, all of the players are terrible, and we need to fire the coach. Not saying that loss didn't piss me off too but get a grip.

Everyone down played OU all week that I actually think most started believing it. To think they are an average team is funny. OU's defense was legit.. I was actually very impressed with our defense for the majority of the game.

I think I read someone put that Florida's defense was far superior to Oklahoma's. Made me laugh.

Florida had a hard enough time making sure they only tackled opposing players.
