Does any one know what will be required to change my driver license over to Tennessee?

When I moved to Arkansas they just traded out with me and I paid a fee.

I'm assuming it's the same?
What about tags on my truck?

SUMMARY: New Tennessee Residents
As a new resident of Tennessee, you will need to transfer your out-of-state driver's license and have your car registered in the state. These tasks require a visit to the DOR. Once you move to Tennessee, you may also wish to register as an organ donor and register to vote.

We require all of the following.

Newdz of an Arkansas cheerleader.
Empty bottle of Jack Daniels.
Proof you are who you are. (Hand written note should work)
A piss on bama sticker for your vehicle.
Tennessee front plate.
A moonpie... Regular or ice cream.
An oath to never give up or secrets.



If that doesn't work, then I'm wrong and don't know.

Example: will proof of insurance be required for license and registration? A utility bill? Birth certificate? (Required in Arkansas now-which may be federal as I have a cdl)

Not sure about CDL, but I never needed PoI for the license. I'd imagine you'd need it for registration.

Back when I lived there, proof wasn't needed at all times. If, you were in a accident, proof was required at court. (Arkansas requires it at all times )

Didn't know if the laws changed.
