Finish 3-1 and you think we are back to a 2 seed? The Baylor/KState game & Iowa State/Texas game are good/bad games…kinda depends on how greedy you wanna be. Root Baylor & Texas if you wanna raise our floor up and make a 3 seed more likely, root for KState & Iowa State if you wanna keep a 2 seed alive but also potentially open up a fall to 4 seed.
Considering we are #9 right now (1 spot away) I would think there’s a very good chance of it if we were to go 3-1
No, #9 was as of this morning, thus after the Kentucky game. 2 is still on the table but obviously take some work and help, a 3 or 4 seems more likely.#9 was before the Kentucky loss, though.
Adding in the A&M game tonight, I think that the 2 seed ship has more or less sailed unless the Vols win out to Sunday in the SEC Tournament. With how February has gone, cobbling together enough wins to keep a 3 seed would feel like a massive victory.
Doesn’t the committee take into account injuries? From what I can remember they do. If so maybe they won’t hold the Kentucky and A&M losses against us too much.
Well so far it seems like they’re not holding it against us too much keeping us as the top 3 seed. We just gotta come out healthy and ready to play these last 3 games. 2/3 are at home so those should, doesn’t mean they will be, but they should be wins. That has us at 22-8 11-6 in conference going into the Auburn game. Auburn still has Alabama away and Kentucky away I believe, so I don’t see that happening. Mizzou has at Georgia as their toughest game left, but Georgia is surprisingly 13-2 at home this season. Could give Mizzou another loss helping us lock up that top 4 seed. It’s all ultimately in our hands though. Win out and we are the 4 seed. That’s really all you can ask for at this point. Give me a healthy Phillips and JJJ going into the Arkansas game and I think that one’s a win. 2-0 gives us some positive momentum heading into the final game of the season. End the season 3-0 going into the SEC tournament and who knows what happens. All I know is 23-8 and 12-6 in conference with how we’ve played this season is still a really good season.Yes they do. However they can also wonder, “are they really back to full strength with everyone at 100%,” and gauge accordingly, so it’s a wash.

Yea, and Kentucky now looking like a NCAAT team isn’t either. Colorado, Florida & Vanderbilt are the only losses to non NCAAT teams as of today, and all 3 came on the road/neutral site.A&M isn't a bad loss. They've won 20 + and sit #2 in the SEC. Example of a team that struggled early and improved.
