If we get dropped a seed line because of ZZ injury then UCLA should drop there best defender out for year as well. Also Houston top scorer strained or pulled a groin yesterday may not play day iffy about start of tourney your thoughts please

Lunardi drops us to a 4 and an E8 match up with Purdue. wouldn't that be interesting.

I think he does have friends in the right places, but doesnt he do the bracket for ESPN? Maybe just covering his bases.

USA Today has us as the #5 in the West playing Iona in their final bracket. TCU is our 4 and Pudue our 1.

I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if the Vols are a #5. We’ve played our way down to a 4 the last few weeks, and the loss of Ziegler may drop us another seed line. Duke has also played their way into a #4.

Both his updates he’s posted on twitter today have had us as a 3, so idk what was up with the ESPN one, and it’s at 11 overall not even final 3 seed. Guess we’ll see.

I still struggle to see us getting that 3-seed, but I would obviously be overjoyed with it. The more I look at the seed lines, the more it feels like there is a big difference between the 14-seeds we'd face and the 13-seeds. Not to mention avoiding the 1-seeds.

If the theory before was that Lunardi is getting info leaked to him because of last year why change that theory now?! Lol. But yea, you always want the higher seed, and feels like there’s some really good 12 & 13’s this year.

I just don't really have a good feel on this either way. So, I don't know what to believe to be honest.

I want to believe Lunardi is getting leaked information, but I also have part of me struggling to look past how we ended the season and the ZZ injury. We really are a different team without Zakai and I'm just concerned the committee is going to take that into account. The good news is we don't have to speculate for much longer.

Well, we all attacked Lunardi last year when he had us still on the 3 line after winning the SECT. But he was right.
