I hate to say it but if Kentucky wins SEC tourney the will be seeded higher who would have said that in January

Don't look now Duke headed for a 4 or 5 seed if they win ACC tourney and Greensboro they will be no doubt

Well if we do get a 3 or 4 seed and we struggle to best a lower conference team there will be no way we survive through the round of 32

You’ve never watched the NCAAT have you? I’m not saying what we will or won’t do, but literally anything and everything happens in the dance.

Watched it since 1979 when Magic played Bird in the National title game . Why do you keep acting like nobody knows anything sir I'm 62 I know my sports im not a dumass as you and others think maybe you don't know **** that could be the problem.

You didn’t start watching until you were 19? You missed Dean Smith’s 4 corners and Bobby Knight kicking everybody’s butt? Ernie and Bernie when you were a teenager? Or even Lew Alcindor and Bill Walton when you were a really young pup? Pistol Pete? CM Newton?

I watched Ernie and Bernie at the arena my dad took me but never got into the Tournament unti! 79 big Magic Johnson fan even when he was in college. My dad watched baseball most of the time so that was my first love Dodgers fan. In 1980 watched Darrell Griffith destroy UCLA and 81 Isiah Thomas at Indiana. To make long story short have watched every NCAA Tourney since 79 most exciting time of year to me except when Dallas Cowboys are good.

You’re acting like no team that has struggled in their conference tournament has ever made it past the R32, there’s literally probably hundreds of examples that say you’re wrong.

Connecticut losing yesterday helps as they were the top 4 seed, unfortunately the 3 4 seeds behind them all won so maybe they move up, but then it’s back to how much do these later round games really matter to the committee. Unless we are just absolutely crushed for ZZ injury we should be a 3 or 4 with a 4 being more likely it would seem.

We should, and likely will be punished for the loss of ZZ. We are much worse, much more limited, and literally elite at nothing without him.

Kinda hope Key, JJJ, ON, Uros, Santi all just find a way to play at their best for what very well could be all of their last tournaments.

If you get the Key we've seen twice against Missouri, the ON we saw against Texas and South Carolina, the typical Santi we're used to, the Uros we got against Kentucky, and the JJJ we got against Ole Miss this team would be unbeatable...

Granted the chances that all 5 have those sort of performances is slim to none...but if ya get 3 of them doing it and then a few of the younger guys also having solid games we could run right through the first 3 rounds if the matchups are right.

Yep. I’m not even trying to be a “NegaVol” it’s just that you watch this team since Auburn and we’ve looked pretty terrible. Offense has looked slightly better, but not good enough to win March games. Defense has collapsed without ZZ. We don’t shoot free throws particularly well, although yesterday free throws were fine. I just don’t see an area on this team to be confident in going into next weekend. And, being a 4-seed is just brutal. The last 4-seed to make the Final Four was in 2013…..

I think we’re elite at rebounding, but that’s about it. Still good in other areas though we’re going to struggle hard against small quick guards or huge centers

Xavier getting thumped at least.

I think Marquette, Gonzaga, and Kansas State have secured 3 seeds. Last 3 seed is up for grabs between us, UCONN, and Virginia. If Virginia beats Duke, it’s hard to argue that we deserve it over them. We might actually be 3rd out of that group regardless, meaning 4 seed.
give me San Diego State or Iowa State, and I don’t care if it’s 3 seed or 4 seed.
my prediction is 4 seed in Greensboro in the East Region with Miami as the 5 seed and Purdue as the 1.
