Cards suck. Worst team and fans in MLB

FWIW...thought it was classy as hell that your fans gave Chipper such an ovation at his first AB yesterday.

I know I'm biased. But I've heard it said many times that STL is the best baseball town in America. Boston is often in the mix as well.

Chipper deserved it. The guy has been one of the best of our generation.

STL is a great baseball city. I don't know best, because I've visited very few.

What's really a shame? San Diego. When they are good, people will come. Great weather, the ballpark is in a nice place in the city, heavy Latino community, etc. But they haven't found ownership that gives a **** about winning.

It they ever find an owner committed to winning, it would become one of the five best franchises in baseball. Free Agents would flock to play for the Padres.

STL is no way a destination city for anything but baseball. I think that's why it's such a baseball city, that's all they have. The Rams and Blues are after thoughts. It is baseball year round in STL. I travel a lot and have been to almost every stadium (will not go to Canada out of spite). Sandiego is an awesome city I agree and is a destination city. When I'm there I see more Chargers and even Lakers stuff than Padre.
My favorites in order
1. Stl (of course)
2. Boston
3. Rangers (last 10 years really good)
4. Rockies
5. Mariners (I was pleasantly surprised)
6. Yankees (for Lombardis pizza alone haha)
7. Royals
8. Dodgers (used to be higher)
9. Mets
10. Oriols

It's definitely more of a Charger town, but that's because of their recent success (I grew up some in San Diego). When Tony Gywnn was there, it was all Padres. And now with relocation talk of the Chargers to Los Angeles, the city is starting to become cold of the Chargers.

I have to go to SD several times a year and love it. You can see some of the most beautiful women in the world there. And if people don't think $ gets you beautiful women? Spend a couple hours in SD and you'll see super models with Larry King look alikes. It's amazing!

San Diego is arguably the most beautiful big city in the country. Everything about it is gorgeous. It doesn't get over 80. There is always a little bit of a slight breeze. My dad would take me in his firebird and we would just drive through San Diego for a couple hours just to look at it. It never got old. There are some bad parts, but that is for any big city.

That's okay, we'll just wait for you to be 10 games up in the wild card and have you choke again...:lolabove:

Dude they owned us. Only the 1st game of the series was even close.
Now it's early of course but right now they have bragging rights.

I am a huge Cards fan and season ticket holder. They csame into our house and kicked our a$$e$. Talking smack after someone does that is idiotic. We get a chance for redemption in a few weeks at the Ted.
