Official Thread of the St. Louis Cardinals

Saying they've been awful is enough. You don't have to pretend they've always been better than you and you've somehow overcome the odds and taken down the mighty cubs.

Not only did I not say that, hell I didn't even get close to saying that. Don't worry, whether you agree with me or not on an issue there's one thing you never have to worry about and that's me beating around the bush. I'm pretty direct.

Going to be hurting at SS all year Beeferoni.

Could be the case. Who knows what's gonna happen with Furcal's elbow. But it's early enough in the year where changes can be made. Kozma did a pedestrian job at best and really fell apart against the Giants in the NLCS. We picked up Cedeno but I'm not sold on him either. SS is def a tough spot for us right now.

you'll need him to

We'll have a solid rotation, a solid line up and besides short we'll be solid in the field. The big question mark for this team is at Short. If Mozeliak and solve this I like our chances.

SS and maybe 2B are iffy. OF is solid even if an injury occurs, and obviously Yadier is great.

The day Matt holiday is "solid" in the field is the day I forget he took that flyball to the penis a couple years ago.

who said he was? I also don't think he's as bad as a play like that makes him look haha

The Reds should be a very solid team. But I have faith that the "tooth pick" will cost them several games.

There are some things in life I just can't explain. Dusty Baker's managerial career is near the top of the list.

You'd have to trade taveras + more than what I just said for tulo, probably. won't happen though.

I'd do it I was Colorado. I'm not going anywhere. Tulo has health issues. Might as well do it.

I wonder how they're going to handle first base/outfield in the near future.

Holliday still has what..... like 4 years on his contract? Left Field.

Jay in center.

Currently Beltran in right, but probably won't be re-signed after this year. For speculation purposes I'll just say Taveras next year.

Allen Craig been playing first. What do we do with Matt Adams? They like him a lot, but he is strictly first base. Whenever they do bring him up, where does Craig go then? He can play outfield, but the outfield should be pretty much set for the next few years.
