Cleto??? I completely missed that he was called up. Why the heck did St Louis call up Cleto? Dude's been awful in Memphis this year and last. If we're down to Cleto then it's getting thin.

Didn't watch any of the game at work, but it looks like he stunk it up.

Victor Marte is the guy the Cards should never had called up. He blows. He was already stinking it up this season in Memphis.

Ironically, Cleto pitched 7 scoreless innings and gave up only 3 hits a week ago in Memphis.

Carpenter working to return in late June or early July.

I am curious to know if they have discussed an innings limit of some sort for Shelby Miller.

He never threw more than 139 innings in the minors and he's currently already thrown 57 innings this season.

Carp needs to get back now. Glad he's working his way back. We're going to need him
