That was a greta game tonight. Playoff baseball rules.

Sure would be nice to close it out tomorrow night... in St. Louis... before Saturday night when the Vols are playing...

I know he's been good so far in the playoffs, but still have a hard time having any confidence in Weaver.

I've got 100% confidence in Dream. If you look at his starts this postseason, he's been pretty solid. He hasn't gotten much run support, so he's taken a couple of losses in game he's only given up a couple of runs.

I just can't do it.

No matter what happens though, the Cards only have to win one more, and Carpenter can pitch one more time. That makes me happy.

He's had one big game, if he has another one tonight in a win, maybe.

Thing about this team so far in the playoffs... one person hasn't carried them, it's been a different guy every night. If they even win the Series, it'll probably go to who has the best game in the clincher.

On second thought, there has been one constant run producer in this series, and they deserve the MVP in my mind.

The Detroit bullpen. :lol:

If he has a solid performance tonight and the Cardinals win, I think Eckstein is your MVP. If Rolen is a major factor in tonights win, he'll win it. If the series goes to game 6 and Anthony Reyes wins it, then he's the MVP.
