Hopefully the elbow reacts a little better this time.

Rolen with a double and scores on a Spiezio single.

Rolen 2-2 and his average is up to .293.

The only goods news today for the Cardinals.

Philadelphia Inquirer: "Buehrle, who reportedly turned down a three-year, $35 million contract offer from the White Sox last summer, is a Missouri native and grew up a Cardinals fan. There's been scuttlebutt for more than a year that the Cardinals will make a run at him."

I've wanted him in St. Louis ever since I heard he grew up a Cards fan.

Final line for Wells: 4.2 innings, 9 hits, 3HRs, 3 walks, 8 runs, 7 earned, 0 Ks.

Oye.

I was afraid of this, the cooler (who are we kidding, the cold weather) probably helped the pitching. Now that it's warm...

I'm not too worried about Marquis. Like you said a few days ago, he'll likely level off somewhere around an ERA of 5.

Cards are in desparate need of a healthy Chris Carpenter and Mark Mulder. Oh, those will be the days.

Gah, 3 straight hits off Coffey and Molina grounds into a doubleplay.

Reds win 10-3

Pretty much no offense again when it mattered.

8-11

Bronson Arroyo (0-2, 3.25) vs. Braden Looper (3-1, 2.08) tonight in game two.

Wells had his first horrid start of the year last night. Let's go ahead and not follow suit, Looper.

Thanks for picking me up last night, tc. Been having computer issues... kinda hit or miss, and it's hitting right now. :)

7-5 Cards right now in the 9th... delay of some sort. Rain?
